‘In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet, hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry bare sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort’…

…The hobbit that lived in this hole was named Mr. Hobbit and he was very fond of his little hole.

One day while he was quietly relaxing in his comfy little chair, he heard a knock on the door, Mr. Hobbit being the gentleman he was rushed to answer it. Standing just outside the door was that really hot, chick, hobbit; Miss Furry-Feet
“Hi” said Miss Furry-Feet as she wandered inside,

“Uh-da-blu-uh HI!” said Mr. Hobbit as he tried to find is tongue “Come in, come in, Oh do come in!”

“Mr. Hobbit,” she said as she made herself comfortable on the couch, “I have some extremely important news…”

Just then they heard a very loud whistle come from the kitchen,

“Oh, I’d a better go get that,” said Mr. Hobbit, and rushed out to go and get the kettle, “would you like to stay for brunch, I was just about to start eating.”

“YES!” shouted Miss Furry-Feet and ran out to the dinning room “YES, YES, YES!”

Then the two greedy hobbits began to scoff down cakes and scull juice.

“Um, show bidn’t moo mant lu chalk moo tee mabout mofin?” said Mr. Hobbit with a mouthful of food.

“I’m sorry?”

“Hay mon mon semenc,” said Mr. Hobbit as he tried to swallow, “Ok, let me try again, didn’t you want to talk to me about something?”

“Ah, yes, the news,” said Miss Furry-Feet starting to get excited, “Bilbo and I are getting married and we want you to be the best man!”

“Oh my gosh” said Mr. Hobbit and ran out of the room, trying to hide his tears, “It’s over, it’s all over!”…

We must all stop polluting,
No more of mess and plastic,

How come it is so simple?
To wreck our world with trash,
Plastic wrap and foil,
Containing food and mash,
We dump it where we want too,
The bin ain’t very far,
Yet still we keep the litter,
That’s just the way we are.

Why do they think that dredging,
Is such a good idea?
It robs the world of nature,
For just a silly pier,
The dugong and the seagrass,
Don’t like the mess you make,
It spoils all their water,
Like saliva in a cake.

So come on all you Aussies,
Clean up this crazy act,
Forget about the football,
Let’s build a mighty pact,
We’ll clean up all the rubbish,
And stop the dredging pest,
Let’s think about the future,
Don’t put rubbish to the test.

In english we have been learning about greek mythology (and mythology from other places). One thing I’ve learnt is that there’s almost always a hero, so here’s a list of the heroes I know:

Spiderman (or Peter Parker)
Peter Parker’s your average nerdy type person and if you called him athletic you’d be a liar. One day however, Peter is bitten by a very rare super spider. The poison swarms through his body and Peter’s is given spider like gifts. He can build webs, climb walls, even see without his glasses and Peter becomes that very famous Spiderman.

Anakin Skywalker (also known as Darth Vader *evil music*)
Anakin is the probably the most famous jedi there ever was. Even though he turns to the dark side half way through the six movies (not to mention kill a lot of people), he is saved by Luke Skywalker (another great hero -and Anakin’s son) and Darth Vader becomes Anakin once again.

Superman (Clark Kent)
This is really sad -but i don’t know much about him just that he can fly and he wears his underware over a pair of tights, with a t-shirt that has a big S on it (yer, real great look)!

I know a lot more heroes (and heroines), but I don’t know anything about them (i don’t watch alot of movies that have heroes in them). So yer…thanks for reading my post.

Judd is a sixteen year old who hates having the same name as his father. One day Judd receives a letter in the mail. Meant for is father, he opens it anyway and finds a credit card. He uses the credit card to save up his money, to escape to London. But something stops him in the process…

Vicki is fourteen but looks eighteen and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. Vicki is very different from her religious parents; she likes to drink, smoke and swear, but one day something changes all that and turns her life upside down…

Lionel is thirteen, has dark skin and is never treated fairly; he doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere. Black people call him white and white people criticize him because he’s black. So where can he fit in?

Ryan’s the youngest of all four, he’s only twelve. While the others are struggling with life itself, Ryan’s only just learnt his best friend’s name is Rayford!

Join four very different people as they lose family and friends. And try to find answers to why the world is going into complete chaos.

I recommend this book to anyone between the age of 12 and 16.

Just from reading the title you’d think it would be a really lame book. It’s not all that bad though; The book is about a boy called Pip who doesn’t like his father attending his soccer games. By complete accident Pip discovers a new hobby…
My favourite character was Beattie because she’s a great friend to Pip. I liked the part of the book where Pip gets his dad to come and watch him in a contest.
I enjoyed the book because it deals with real life problems. I recomend it for any teenager who can read (it helps if you can read!).

You may be wondering why this site is called exploding eggs, well last week I played this game where you had to put food in someone else’s mouth, then they chewed it up and spat it out, then another person came and drank it.

It just so happened that one of the ingredients was an egg, and I had to put it in someone else’s mouth. It was the hardest egg ever!! Seriously there was no way that egg was going to crack. After many unsuccessful efforts I gave up and shoved it against my leg…that was stupid, egg went everywhere, it was really disgusting! But it was so funny!!!

Oh well!
